Welcome to the New Scouting Year with the greatest Pack EVER. No other organization offers the quality of year round programming and lifetime memories like we do! Dues cover all programming from January 1st 2025-December 31st 2025.
Dues are used to:
Help subsidize programming and actvities we offer making them far less expensive for families to partiicpate in throughout the year
Pay Insurance costs
Pay the fees for every leader we have on the roster (about 20)
Reserve permits for facilities we use to hold events and activities
Offset costs for den programming
Offset costs of materials needed for Pack Events
Offset costs of food at Pack Events
Offset costs of Neckerchiefs, and Scout/Leader Awards
Dues have been set at $130 for Scouts and $105 for Siblings.
Popcorn Sales - Store Front Shifts have all been assigned****
(You still have a chance to do On-line or Wagon Sales)
However! IF by September 15th, 2024, you/and your Scout:
Create a Trails End Account for your Scout(s) AND
Sign up for 1 upcoming shift to sell popcorn (each shift lasts for 2 hours) Or
Sell 1 bag of Popcorn online OR
Make 1 wagon sale OR
Sign up as a committe member to volunteer for 2 seperate events (On the next page) Or
Lead/Co-Lead a committe
You will get a coupon code to lower your dues by $30 for each Scout who participates in that activity!! For Example, if you have two Scouts enrolled, they can sign up for the same shift and you just saved $60!
Plus, for every bag/product of popcorn sold, you will earn 15% of all online Sales back into an account specific to your Scout which can be accessed/viewed and used to get reimbursed for the entirety of your dues, Scout Camp tuition, gear at the Scout Shop, or programming during the year. If you sign up for a Shift at a storefront sale or sell popcoren you requested to sell on your own i.e. at a park, infront of your house, the National Mall, etc, the percentage/return on investment goes up to 17.5%!!
Disclaimer: While Popcorn funds can remain in your Scout's Account, they must be used by the time they Cross Over (Graduate) or exit the pack
Over the next few pages, you will have the opportunity to not pay your dues, but to complete a health form for your scout, sign up to share your talents with Pack 1280 as a volunteer, and even buy this year's Scout Shirt!!!
