Project Graduation 2023 Friday, June 9-10 Kalahari Resorts, Pocono Manor, PA 18349
Timeline:
10:00pm - board busses with chaperones at WHHS
10:15pm - depart WHHS
11:00pm - arrive at Venue: Kalahari waterpark/arcade
11:00pm-2:00am - Kalahari waterpark
11:30-1:00am - pizza & boneless wing bar
2:15am-4:15am - Kalahari arcade
2:30-3:30am - dessert bar
4:30am - line up/board busses w/chaperones
4:45am - depart Kalahari
5:30am - arrive back at WHHS
Guidelines for Participation in Project Graduation:
· Transportation by bus to the event will be provided – no one will be admitted to the event unless they arrive with the Class of 2023
in the buses provided.
· Student will arrive on time to WHRHS alcohol, tobacco, and chemical substance free.
· Security and/or local police will be present at the event and will remove anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This includes anyone that is suspected of being under the influence of, or who may attempt to use, these substances during the event.
· The rules of behavior during this event will mirror those of the school.
· I understand that the chaperones and officers will be diligent, but they cannot watch every graduate every minute.
· I understand that the graduate must take responsibility for his/her actions and will be expected to act in a mature, responsible manner and in accordance with the direction of the chaperones and event guidelines.
· I release the school, directors, and chaperones from liability for any injuries, damages, illnesses, or medical expenses that may
result due to irresponsible behavior on the part of the graduate.
· I understand that should the graduate disregard direction, thereby endangering property, him/herself or others, his/her parent/guardian will be called. Police will be on site.
· I authorize chaperones to secure emergency medical attention for the named graduate, and I understand that I will be responsible
for expenses incurred in the event such attention is required.
· NO MEDICATIONS WILL BE ALLOWED UNLESS PRE-APPROVED BY PARENT WITH STAFF
· All bags/backpacks will be dropped off graduation morning to be checked by security. They will be returned to the student as they enter the bus.
· Lockers will be made available at the site for students to rent – credit or debit card only
· No indecent swimwear allowed. Students may be asked to change clothing or wear a t-shirt.
