Walk for Wescott

Thank you very much for supporting Walk for Wescott, our annual PTO fundraiser! Students collect pledges to earn raffle tickets and then participate in a walk around the field during their PE class on Wednesday, October 9th.

These funds directly impact Wescott School, supporting needs of teachers and classrooms, such as classroom rocking chairs for students, international postage for student pen pal programs, musicians for school performances, and teacher’s lounge enhancements. In addition, 10% of donations will be directed to Fear? Not! Nation charity.

Each student that participates in the walk on October 9th will receive a participation prize. All students that raise a donation will receive a raffle ticket. An additional raffle ticket will be given for every $25 donated. The raffle will take place during the lunch hour on October 9th and winners will be announced by Dr. Brown during the afternoon school announcements.

Raffle prizes this year include a new 20’ trek bike from George Garner Cycle, a 1 year membership at the Dugout Baseball Academy, 1 week of summer camp at Hi-Five Sports, tickets to a Chicago Fire soccer game, a t-shirt party at B Friends, an after school play date with Mrs. Latek's pug, and much much more!!

All donations must be made by Monday, October 7th to be eligible for the raffle.
