This year, Avon Lake will be having their first annual Trunk or Treat! We will be offering either single or double parking spots for the participants. If a spot is purchased you will be asked to decorate your trunk in a spooky (but not too scary) fashion. The “trunkers” will also be asked to bring candy so that we can pass out candy to all of our trick-or-treaters. If you don’t wanna bring a car, single trick-or-treaters are welcome. If able, we ask that anyone participating will bring in nonperishable food items. All proceeds will benefit either the CRS and/or Mackenzie’s Gold Award Project

My Gold Award project is to help the seniors students in Chorale and Orchestra get senior banners. It occurred to me that I wouldn't be having a senior banner displayed as I do not participate in any athletics sports. I didn't think this was fair, as I have been in Orchestra and Choir since a young age. My fellow classmates deserve to be recognized for out hard work and dedication to the Avon Lake Art Program. Due to many fundraisers being on hold due to the COVID pandemic, I am hoping this will help to raise some of the funds needed.
