The Thunder are hosting the seventh annual Thunderstorm Tournament September 19th - 22nd, 2024.
Play will consist of three pool play games and a single elimination playoff, with all teams advancing to bracket play. All games will be 75-minute “Finish the inning” games except for Championship games, which will extend the time limit to 90 minutes (still finish the inning). Ties will be allowed in pool play, but bracket games will be played until there is a winner (international tie breaker will apply). Medals will be awarded to first and second place finishers in each division.
All levels will have split brackets, ensuring that all teams will be playing competitive games on Sunday.
We will have two umpires for all Championship games, but no protests will be allowed and all umpire decisions will be final. We will also be utilizing Tourney Machine for scheduling as well as seeding and tiebreakers.
In the event that the tournament is canceled in advance, all fees less a $50 administration fee (to cover non-refundable event costs) will be refunded. Every effort will be made to play as many games as possible in the event of inclement weather and the Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust the format or time limits as needed.
Registration is first come, first serve and payment must be received by 9/5/2024 to confirm your spot.
