Please read through the course offerings below and complete the form and submit your child's requests. If you have more than one child, please fill in the requests for each child separately. When final assignments have been confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation.
Each course is $10 per child ($14 for PreK with YMCA). Registration will close on March 28th.

STILL AVAILABLE:Grades Kindergarten to 3rd: Harry Potter Wand Makers: Do you believe in Magic?! Join us for a wondrous wand making course where children will shape their wand with clay and complete their design with acrylic paint. Children will learn some magic spells to use with their wand (inspiried by Harry Potter).
Courses no longer available/Sold out:Basketball: Have a ball with Readington Recreation! Come learn basketball skills and drills, and play a game with what you have learned.
Be A Star: HAA’s theatre arts classes provide an immersive experience, combining acting, music (voice), and dance (movement) for students from early childhood through young adulthood. Acting and Musical Theatre classes are powerful confidence boosters. They teach you how to present yourself in public, hone your public speaking ability, improve your communication skills, and collaborate with others as members of the same team. But the Theatre Arts--Acting, Singing, and Dancing--are also extremely enjoyable and exciting in their own right.
Build a Better World - and tell the world about it too! Join the RMS EcoAmbassadors as we build a big model puppet city together! You’ll make the people, plants, and animals that live there, and you’ll get to take home your materials too! Our EcoAction news crew will be there, and we invite you to become Roving Reporters, helping to create the video news report! Have fun and make new friends!
Cheerleading: Join the Hunterdon Jr Red Devils Cheerleaders for an afternoon of cheerleading and fun! Work with our experienced coaching staff to learn cheer, dance and some basic stunts. Open to all interested cheerleaders.
Chess Champions: Please join us for a masterclass in Chess! This class is for students of all levels who are interested in learning more about the game of Chess.
Dream Big Little Ones: Children will be instructed on how to make their own dreamcatchers. A unicorn dreamcatcher is featured, but there are options for dinosaurs, stars, etc., so that each child can truly personalize their dreamcatcher which they will then bring home with them.
Edible Creations: Do you like to make fun snacks and treats?! Children will have fun making sweet treats to bring home. They will craft an edible butterly and some flowers out of sweet treats like candy, pretzels, and frosting. This is a perfect class for a creative student who also likes to enjoy a tasty treat. *ALLERGEN WARNING: This class will use foods that contain gluten, dairy and may have been proceesed with nuts. We cannot guarantee saftey from food allergens in this class--please do not sign up if your child has a serious food allergy.
Frosting Fun: Join our fun creative cupcake decorating class! Get ready to be creative and eat some tasty treats. Children will have an opportunity to frost and decorate their own cupcakes. *ALLERGEN WARNING: This class will use foods that contain gluten, dairy and may have been proceesed with nuts. We cannot guarantee saftey from food allergens in this class--please do not sign up if your child has a serious food allergy.
Hands-On Anatomy: Join Hunterdon 4-H, part of Rutgers University for an exciting hands-on experience where you will create your very own anatomical/robotic hand model! Dive into the fascinating world of anatomy and robotics as you explore how the parts of your hand work together in this fun, interactive workshop.
Painting Bird Houses: In this course, you will get to decorate a cute Bird House to take home! This course is with the Girl Scouts from Troop 80927.

Reptiles Alive: Our scaly and slimy wildlife is often misunderstood. Learn about some of our local reptiles as you meet with them face to face. Students will get to see and touch most of our native turtles and snakes as they learn about how these reptiles survive.
Sand Art: In this station, you will be able to create beautiful sand art creations using various colors of fine sand. Students will be able to create different patterns and styles of sand art, and display their artwork in the form of a necklace of their favorite shape. This course is with the Girl Scouts from Troop 80927
Scout Walk: This will be an introduction to Scouting; how to be safe while enjoying the outdoors. We will simulate a wilderness hike by taking a short walk around the school grounds. While on our trek, we will learn how to be prepared for various and unexpected situations through demonstrations of the typical gear and gadgets carried by Scouts.
Self Defense/Karate: Join us for a special self defense mini-course with Action Karate! Not only will your child learn self defense skills but will also learn valuable life skills such as; Focus, Self-Discipline, Confidence, Balance, and Self-Control. Please note: a waiver is required for this mini-course.Sensory Painting: Please join us for a course that will teach children how to paint t-shirts or caps with their own designs using different textures and colors. Please note: This course is specifically designed for children who benefit from a sensory friendly environment. If your child took the fall sensory course for making empanadas, this is the same instructor and a similar environment will be utilized.Young Sprouters: This course will help children start their "garden". It will include a hands on vegetable seed planting lesson and the students can bring home a pot of planted seeds. This class will be lead by, Mrs. Birmingham, the RMS teacher who runs the Nature and Garden Club at RMS. We're excited for her to offer this course!.
Preschool OnlyRainbow Science & Art Adventure!: Calling all little scientists and artists! Join us for a colorful exploration of rainbows and hidden colors! Preschoolers will explore the magic of chromatography, a fun science trick that reveals hidden colors in markers using coffee filters and water. Watch as colors separate and create amazing patterns, then transform your colorful coffee filters into beautiful, personalized rainbows to take home! Get ready for a colorful explosion of learning, experimentation, and creative fun!
