Our 8-week program begins on Saturday, August 16, 2025, and runs for 8 consecutive Saturdays; ending on Saturday, October 4, 2025. There are two session times available; the first session runs from 11:15 AM - 11:45 PM and is geared towards new skaters that have minimal or no skating experience and have not yet participated in the LTS Academy program. The second session begins at 11:45 PM-12:15 PM and is geared towards skaters with previous experience or have already participated in the LTS Academy during a previous term. On the first day, our coaches evaluate each skater to determine what level they should be placed in. The skater will then stay with that group for the 8-weeks and will learn various skills that are required for that level. At the end of the 8-weeks, our coaches will test each skater to determine if they have met all the skill requirements and are ready for the next level. It is important to know that not every skater passes their skills test and may have to repeat the level during the next Learn-to-Skate Academy term. Skaters who do not pass their level, unfortunately, will not receive the Certificate of Completion or ISI level patch.Our Academy offers classes for skaters of all ages and experience by including levels ranging from Beginner Tots to Adults. No experience is required. The Learn-to-Skate Academy is a great opportunity for anyone looking to learn a new skill, meet new friends and discover a new passion for being on the ice.
