Sierra Vista K-8 PTC
Sierra Vista K-8 PTC ("PTC") is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created for the purpose of supporting education at Sierra Vista K-8 School ("SVK8") and benefitting the greater SVK8 community. PTC is comprised of SVK8 faculty (teachers and staff) and family (parents, guardians, grandparents, etc). In order to raise funding for programs, resources, and school improvements, PTC relies entirely on volunteers, membership contributions, community donations, and fundraising. PTC officers and committee chairs are all parents and volunteers dedicating time and energy with the hope of making a positive impact for our children's school!
Vision - To be a valuable resource for the school community.
Mission - To enhance the educational experience of all students through academic and social programs; supplemental financing of resources and opportunities; and active collaboration between families, faculty, and friends of Sierra Vista K-8 School.
Values – To uphold and promote the values of the school, including PAWS, and to: (1) serve as a liaison between families and school; (2) use PTC funds wisely and ethically; (3) be transparent in its operations and finances; and (4) fulfill its role to the best of its ability.
