Dear Friends,
We are hosting a live music benefit concert, Saturday, May 14! Our doors will open at 3 P.M. and music will begin at 4:00 P.M.. This event is to benefit the MARA Rescue. MARA Rescue is a non-profit animal sanctuary in Elfin Forest. With our lives so loaded with technology, it can be difficult to connect with nature. MARA Rescue has been a blessing for my kids and me, by helping us make that connection. The owner, Meg Brown, and her amazing partner, Noe, work day and night to create this very special haven for animals that have otherwise run out of options. The steep rise in costs everywhere has heightened their need for donations. The funds raised from this fantastic concert will go toward daily care, feed, veterinary care, and housing improvements for the animals in the sanctuary. You will absolutely be delighted by the harmonies and fun provided by the band, formerly known as Rhea and the Octopus. Put your dancing shoes on and get ready for an incredible night of live music under the spring sky.
Things To Know:
I have created a number of ticket prices to suit different budgets. Please purchase tickets at a rate that feels comfortable for you. Absolutely 100% of all ticket sales will go to MARA Rescue.
Event Address: Printed on your receipt upon purchase. Cash, check, e-check and credit cards are accepted. If you elect to pay by cash or check, still reserve your ticket on this site so we have your headcount in advance.
Tacos will be available for your enjoyment. Bring beach chairs if you like, but this is not necessary. **BYOB (avoid glass containers if possible) **
Dress Code: Super Casual. Flip flops, t-shirts...you know...chill
There is a pool in the yard, so please do not bring children under 10 years of age and, please, no swimming.
Parking: Parking is Limited Use Uber or another rideshare when possible to ease your troubles. More detailed parking information will be given via email for those not using uber or other rideshare.
If you are unable to attend the benefit concert but would still like to donate, you can purchase tickets and send me a message that you can't attend.
