The Madison and McKenny PTOs are proud to present the 2025 Roarin' and Soarin' McMad Dash Fun Run on Sunday June 8th 2025 at Heritage Park at Capitol Lake!
Please join us for this exciting annual event to benefit the students of Madison and Mckenny Elementary Schools. This walk/run provides a wonderful chance for students to experience a fun run with their friends and family, complete with a shirt, medals and awards! The course is open to ALL abilities. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.
The day kicks off with the 2.5k kids walk/run (1 lap around the lake) beginning at 8:30am, which is followed by the 5k walk/run (2 laps around the lake) at 9:00am. This is a fast, flat course perfect for beginning runners and a chance for experienced runners to set a personal record! There are course marshalls throughout the course to help keep runners safe, and it's an officially timed race event, with results posted online for you to view. Choose your own speed and goals!
Registration is still OPEN and will be up until the morning of the event. Any registrations received after May 1st will not have a shirt guaranteed. Details for race packet pickup will be posted online at a future date, as well as sent to the email address that you provide to us here with your registration information.
Invite neighbors, family, and friends to join the fun! There will be snacks and activities for everyone to enjoy.
