Chaparral’s annual LEARN-A-THON (formerly known as the Spell-a-thon) fundraiser is happening NOW! This is the biggest fundraiser of the year and we are very excited to kick it off! 50% of the money raised goes directly back into the classrooms to be used on supplies and technology in the classrooms! This year our school wide goal is $40,000.
Things will look a little different this year for this fundraiser but the main idea is still the same…helping our students learn and grow while raising money for Chaparral’s educational programs. There will still be 100 items to learn but these items will be from subjects taught in the current curriculum…math, science, social studies, spelling, vocabulary and more! Each student will learn about goal setting and set their own, personal goal to strive for in this fundraiser.
The Learn-A-Thon will run from January 9th - through February 3rd with all pledge money due by February 17th. Thank you for continuing to support the teachers, classrooms and educational programs at Chaparral!
