**You're Invited!**
Being a Girl Scout Volunteer isn't easy or fully understood - it takes a special person to do that much good. We especially want to recognize and thank the real heroes — your Girl Scout, who shares you with the troop and takes on extra responsibilities when you volunteer. We are so grateful to both of you for your dedication, hard work and love you give to Girl Scouts.
High Tea Party for Girl Scout Volunteers and Child
Date: Saturday, May 31st
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: Greenwich Country Club, Main Dining Room
As of May 12, we are opening this event to all Girl Scout families especially volunteers. Attend with your Girl scout or solo. Please pay what you like; event is subsidized by the Greenwich Service Unit.
Being a Girl Scout Leader's Daughter

_Being a Girl Scout Leader's Daughter isn't always easy or so much fun._
_Mom's/Dad's attention is on a troop of girls you used to be her only one._
_Your hands are never empty as you help unload the car of meeting crafts and camping gear from trips both near and far._
_Just because s/he volunteered, you get volun"told" to help set up for the room, put away those chairs it really does get old._
_You are first to arrive, and last to leave, and dinner is in the car the drive-thru window is your fate with Leader Mom/Dad in Charge_
_Cookie Booths are always filled when you are on her Team._
_If a girl gets sick, or cancels out it will be you standing counting change._
_In every room at home, you'll find at least one pile of Girl Scout stuff and when cookies get delivered navigating all those cases can get rough._
_And when it's not Troop meeting night s/he's still not with the family eating, s/he's out the door to attend yet another Leader meeting!_
_But with all that, you do believe that having Mom/Dad as your Leader is best_
_You see their love in every badge that's on your Girl Scout vest._
_I do not think you'd trade it, you would've missed out on all the fun._
_You got to be a Girl Scout all because of your own, loving Girl Scout Leader Mom/Dad._
