Thank you for visiting our site! On Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022 the PTA is hosting Escondido Elementary's Friends Around the World Fun Run. The money collected supports our PTA’s Ice Cream Challenge Fundraiser. The PTA pays for classroom supplies, field trips, special events and so much more!!! This is an opportunity to earn a scoop for your runner's classroom- The class with 100% Participation will win a Stanford Basketball Experience and an Escondido T-Shirt!!!
We will kick off the Fun Run with a Family 5K. After that, your runner will be able to run in grade level events. Run For Fun will set the course and be the MC, ensuring that all the kids have a great time! There will be a coffee cart, food, water stations and more.
**The suggested pledge is $25, **however any amount is greatly appreciated!
The PTA pays for the following at Escondido so that every student has the same access to materials and programming and our experience on campus can be as equitable as possible:
Field Trips;
Classroom supplies (no supply lists go home to our families, the PTA provides);
Noontime sports and clubs for all students;
Jr. Museum Hands-on Science Lessons;
The Children's Theater Out Reach Program
Community Events such as the International Fair, Last Day Fair, Spanish & English combined book fair, Talent Show and Movie Night;
Teacher Grants and Library Books ;
Yearbooks for every student!
