You’ll learn how to actively engage the men in your community and expand your membership for a more inclusive approach. Discover the vital role of PTA membership in enhancing student success and learn strategies to build strong partnerships between families and schools. Together, we can create a PTA environment where every family feels a sense of belonging

Special Education: Inclusion as a Verb; Actions all units can take to engage, include, and support all families. Having a child with a disability can impact families in many ways, and some may (mistakenly) think PTA is not for them. In order to truly advocate for every child with one voice, all units - PTAs, Councils, and SEPTAs - must actively work to include all families. Participants will leave this workshop with concrete steps to help broaden their reach, share resources, and create a welcoming environment.
