Citizens for Bay Schools is a grass-roots organization committed to passing the proposed Bay Village School's new, no tax increase Permenant Improvement Levy Issue this May 2025. As community members, we believe passing this proposed levy will keep our district financially stable, while creating safer and more flexible learning spaces in our current buildings. We passionately believe in the quality of our Bay Village Schools, the passion of our faculty and staff, and the fact that our school district is consistently ranked in the top 2% in Ohio.
We support the community-led Finance + Facilities for the Future Plan and the decision by the Bay Village Board of Education to place the permanent improvement levy on the primary election ballot to "Continue the Excellence" in Bay Village Schools. This proposed permanent improvement levy will replace two current Bond issues at are expiring. This allows residents to continue paying what they're currently paying, for a no tax increase. The permanent improvement levy will generate funds to pay for building improvements, technology, textbooks and transportation, with no increase in taxes for Bay Village residents.
