**Exciting News from Austin Japan Community (AJC) !**
**We are hosting a “Kodomo-no-hi/Children’s Day festival 🎏” on Sunday, April 6th 2:00pm-4:00pm at Cat Hollow Park.**
There will be a variety of activities for the children to enjoy including traditional Japanese toys and games with prizes, calligraphy, make & take crafts and more! 🥳
What is Children's Day?: In Japan, Children’s Day happens on May 5th. On this day, families hang up colorful carp-shaped flags called koinobori. The carp is a symbol of strength because it's said to swim up waterfalls, so the flags wish for children to grow up strong and brave! Families also decorate their homes with samurai warrior dolls. We are bringing this fun seasonal festival in Japan to the park in Round Rock! 🎏🎉
📅Date & Time：Sunday, April 6th 2pm-4pm

✨How to attend✨
- Purchase 1 Activity Pass for each child who will be participating in the activities.
- 🎫 Selling 120 passes. Admission is FREE, but activities with prizes and gift bags require Acitivity Pass.
- Activity Passes are non-refundable after March 23rd.
- ALL children of AJC members will receive FREE Activity Passes. We will send a coupon code to make them free on March 9th. This code expires on March 23rd. Please scroll down to AJC Member Benefits 🎁 for more information.
