This rally explores the music and cultural heritage around Bristol, TN / VA (the town is split down the middle). The schedule is below, with links so you can get a preview of what there is to do in the area.
Since our grand finale for Saturday night is a visit to the historic Carter Family Fold to visit their historic A.P. Carter Cabin from 1800's and attend a music concert in their historic venue, we thought we would do something a little different. For those who are interested we are going to have a book discussion during the rally of the book Will You Miss Me When I Am Gone -- The Carter Family and Their Legacy in American Music. You have plenty of time to check it out from your local library, if you choose to participate or just sit in to listen. Please join us -- it will be another great way to get to know each other and share stories.
