Woodcreek Nature Center - 2nd Grade May 6th (Janis/Lockett) May 9th (Lees/Vaillancourt) Field Trip Purpose: Students will attend a fun and educational puppet show about animals and plants, performed by Woodcreek High School students. After the show, they’ll go on a guided nature hike in the open space behind the school to explore and identify local plants and animals. This trip offers a hands-on way to learn about the natural world around them.

Please contact your child’s teacher to volunteer as a chaperone. The front office must clear chaperones.
We will be taking the bus to: 3051 Woodcreek Oaks Blvd. Roseville, CA 95767 (*Chaperones, meet us in front of the Roseville Aquatic Complex. From there, we will walk behind the Roseville Aquatic Complex to the tennis courts to wait for our guides to begin the field trip.)

Hamburger Farm Field Trip - Wednesday, May 14, 2025 *(Also referred to as Bishop Pumpkin Patch) 1415 Pumpkin Lane, Wheatland, CA 95692**Cost: $20 per child\
Chaperones: $20 per parent\
We are looking forward to our last field trip of the year for 2nd grade! We’re headed to the Hamburger Farm, where students will learn all about the process of making a hamburger—from farm to table.\
They’ll explore the farm to see the plants that go into a hamburger meal. It’s a fun, hands-on way to connect what we eat with where it comes from!\
_Students will enjoy the following activities:_
A train ride around the farm* A large playground and big tire jumping areas
Sliding down Marble Mountain
Marble mining
A petting zoo
A delicious hamburger lunch with chips, milk or water, and a cookie (There is also a veggie burger option - Mark this option on the field trip form if interested.)**CHAPERONES: All parents are welcome! The more chaperones the better on this FUN field trip. FYI - Parents will drive themselves and meet us at the Hamburger Farm. **
