Sunflowers in the Barn: A Watercolor Workshop

Tap into your creativity and soak up the beauty of blooming gardens as we paint a vibrant sunflower in watercolor, all within the charm of a newly restored 200-year-old threshing barn. No experience is needed—beginners are warmly welcomed! You’ll be guided step by step as we explore a variety of watercolor and ink techniques. By the end of the evening, you'll head home with your own finished 8”x10” painting to be proud of.

About the Instructor: Becky Patterson is a graphic designer, artist and illustrator from North Tonawanda, NY. She’s been working as a creative professional for over 20 years. Becky enjoys warm, sunny days outside, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.

About the Venue: The circa 1810 Hull Family Home & Farmstead was built by Warren Hull, a Revolutionary War veteran who traveled west from New England with his wife Polly and their children. From this site, the only fully restored stone dwelling of the early 1800's in Erie county, 200 years of history can be told – the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812 & the burning of Buffalo, the opening and impact of the Erie Canal, early pioneer life, the abolitionist movement, and much more.
