2024 Junior Thunder Registration
Interested in joining the Thunder Fastpitch Family?
The Thunder are excited to offer our Junior Thunder program again this winter starting in early January 2024.
The program will focus on:
- Developing softball fundamentals in all areas (hitting, fielding, pitching, and more)
- Understanding core softball concepts
- Improving strength and conditioning
- Creating new friendships, learning the value of teamwork, and what it means to be part of the Thunder Family!
- Having fun!
The program is aimed at helping prepare our young athletes for their spring house league season and for Thunder tryouts next summer (if they choose to pursue travel softball), and is open to players born in 2013 - 2015 (younger players are allowed, but most of our past participants have been between 8 - 10 years old). Junior Thunder participants will also receive priority registration for our summer House All-Star Tournament program, the Thunder All-Stars!
The program will consist of ten 90-minute practices on Sunday afternoons (exact time is TBD), running January 7th through mid-April (with exceptions for Spring Break, Easter, etc.) at our brand new training facility in Arlington Heights (opening this fall).
The program fee is $225 and includes all indoor training costs, instruction, t-shirts, and more. The program is lead by former players (adults) with help from experienced Thunder Sisters (older players in the Thunder Family).
