Come on and Sing...Your Voice Matters! - is going to be a fun experience that you & your chorus members will not want to miss! Your Education Steering Committee will be your faculty for this event. Registration will open at 8:30 am with the event starting at 9:00 am to 4:30 pm with a lunch break from 12 noon to 1:30 pm. The fee is $30 per person.
We will be offering classes for the single singer on:
“WHY” physical & vocal warmups are so important at the being of rehearsal
"Do You Hear What I Hear?" - an interactive class with chorus coaching that will discuss topics such as vowel matching, tuning, synchronization, and the visual plan.
During the interactive class "Do You Hear What I Hear?", singers will observe choruses being coached by faculty and given an observation form to use in what to listen for. We all know how much we learn by observing so this will be a chance to share what you are hearing. This will also be an opportunity for your chorus to receive free coaching (using one of your songs) by one of our faculty. All we require is you having all 4 parts in attendance. How exciting is that?!
There will be two (2) locations which you are invited to attend, one or both, whichever is your preference. The dates and locations are:
