**Seminar Overview:**‎
This interactive and engaging seminar will focus on the myriad leadership roles and opportunities encountered by Catholic School presidents. From relations with governing boards, families, school personnel, and the broader community, presidents have opportunities to lead strategically, inclusively and productively in a variety of ways. This seminar will explore leading as a Catholic school president from these many perspectives and will be a valuable professional development opportunity for presidents who are both new-to-the-role and those who are more experienced.‎

In this participant-focused presentation, Dr. McNeal will highlight the principles and approaches to presidential leadership most relevant and helpful in today’s Catholic school environment. With a keen focus on authentic and appropriate Board engagement, a unifying advancement-oriented approach, as well as the president’s role within the school and the community, this session will provide needed context for this important seminar topic. Today, more than ever, our students and schools need thoughtfully engaged and effective leaders. Using both research findings and observations from practice, this session will accent the leadership attributes and actions most closely associated with school success.
