**Meet your Coach:**
Jeff Standard
Jeff is the founder and director of Texas Pistols West. He will also be coaching our TXP West 11U Black Team. Jeff grew up in Electra, TX just west of Wichita Falls. He was a multi-sport player in high school earning all-district honors in various sports as well as all-state in football. He continued his college years in the same area and graduated from Midwestern State University with a degree in Sports & Exercise Science. Volleyball playing experience consists of college intramurals and traveling with friends to play in weekend tournaments, very similar to club nowadays. From little league baseball, Red Cross swimming, Boys & Girls Club basketball and volleyball, Pop Warner, GMFL football to Junior High and High School various sports, Jeff has 30 plus years of coaching experience under his belt. He started coaching club volleyball in the North Texas region for the then-named Texas Hotshots, who are now your current day Texas Pistols. Since moving to Midland, Jeff has coached for 3:23 and Midland Edge Volleyball clubs.
