Bak MSOA PTO Mission Statement
The mission of the Bak Middle School of the Arts Parent Teacher Organization (Bak MSOA PTO) is to support students in achieving their educational goals, assist the faculty and administration wherever needed, foster communication between parents and the school, and plan, organize, and execute events and programs that generate the resources and mechanisms necessary to fulfill these objectives.
How the PTO Supports Bak MSOA
The PTO plays a vital role in enriching the school community through a variety of efforts, including:
Smaller classroom needs
Support for academic resources and school technology
Individual technology purchases for classrooms
Teacher grants for special projects or materials
Internal social gatherings and appreciation (including Teacher Appreciation Week and ongoing treats throughout the year)
Fundraising events and initiatives such as:
