REGISTER to play in the Senior Games by clicking on the box below with the name of the Sun Lakes Community where you reside.

Welcome to the Senior Games. Over the course of 2 weeks, 12 games will be played. Participants may register to play in as many games as they choose in an effort to win personal awards and points for their Sun Lakes Community. The community that earns the most accumulated points will receive the Sun Lakes Senior Games 2025 Trophy. In addition, the top 2 players in each game will receive recognition and all players will have a chance to win a variety of prizes valued over $100 for each game. All games are based on national standards with some modifications to make local play easier. Any disputes will be resolved by the Game Manager.

Sun Lakes Entertainment LLC is a registered entity in Sun Lakes, Arizona with pending 501C3 non profit status ( ID: 76767052256).  This organization’s purpose is to create and promote sporting and entertainment events that encourage community engagement fostering communication, cooperation, and well-being between four retirement communities.  The company operates as a nonprofit with a volunteer board of directors and team managers, little to no overhead with a focus on working on one project at a time.  All monies go directly to the project.  The Senior Games at Sun Lakes Arizona our the current project.

Senior Games at Sun Lakes (SGSL) is designed to inspire residents of Sun Lakes, Arizona to actively engage in events that encourage physical, emotional, social, and mental health regardless of age, gender, or skill level.  More broadly, SGSL aim to forge stronger social connections within and between Sun Lakes’ neighborhoods and to foster a community that supports shared values and collaboratively builds systems that support healthy lifestyle-building activities.  To this end, the Sun Lakes Senior Games Project concept was developed in late 2023 and launched in April 2024

Purpose
﻿
The purpose of the Sun Lakes Senior Games is to provide a pathway for individuals ages 50 and over to get active through sports and games.  Participation positively impacts the lives of seniors and benefits the active aging experience, health, and well-being.  The target is to inspire more interaction and communication to build friendships within and between the separate community neighborhoods while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
