Westlake Meals on Wheels (WMOW) is partnering with local area restaurants to support our community with the Neighbors United - Delivering Together program. WMOW delivers 2 meals a day, 5 days a week to an average of 75 senior citizens, who are some of the most at-risk individuals during this pandemic. We have partnered with local area restaurants to help us during this time, and in turn, we can help them. People wanting to make a difference can donate restaurant meals to a senior citizen in our community for $5 each. When the donations for a specific restaurant reach 75 meals, WMOW will select a day and pick up the order to be delivered to our clients. We can not only help feed our at-risk neighbors during this time, but also help our local restaurants. If we do not reach a full 75 meals, WMOW will work with each restaurant to identify an appropriate number of meals that can be delivered based on the available donations.
