Description:
Let’s all go to the east end of Tennessee and explore. Discover Kingsport Tn, the first model city in the U.S., where Daniel Boone marked a trail through Cumberland Gap, Pals Sudden Service (best burger around), home to the Original Long Island Iced Tea (and you thought it was from Long Island, NY’), Bellafina Chocolates, lots of great restaurants, breweries, and more. Take a hike, ride a bike, follow the mural trail, dine with the wolves or ride the Carousel. So much to do and enjoy. Come camp with us, meet new friends and visit with old ones. See you there!!!

6 PM Meet and greet at campsite host site (#117), heavy appetizers and bring your own appetizer to share and your own beverage
Friday
Breakfast on your own
10 AM Bay's Mountain Park visit. Cost is $7 per car (ride share recommended)
Mini zoo
Planetarium show is from 12-1PM, cost is $6 per person. Free if you are veteran or have a military id.
Other activities: Sun watch (free), evening barge ride cost is $6 per person.
Noon - Lunch on your own
6 PM Potluck dinner at campsite host site (#117), meat provided by club
Saturday
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on your own

Kingsport Famers market with optional local chef cooking a meal

Abbington, Va Farmers Market (approximately 40 minutes from campground)
Abbington, Va - Virginia Creeper Trail, bring your own bike or look at the website for rental options in Abbington.
2 PM Barter Theater playhouse in Abbington, VA.
Playing is a "Few Good Men".  Barter Theater is offering a club discount when purchasing the tickets online, use promotion code "AIRFGM 25"(the normal cost is approximately $47+ tax).
7:30 PM Ice Cream Social at the campground (provided by the club)
