Join Wild Aware to remove barbed wire fencing on public and private property. Bring your gloves and eye protection and we'll have wire cutters for you to use. We recommend close-toed shoes, long pants, sun protection, and your water bottle! Wild Aware will haul the wire sections to a recycling facilty or landfill.
If you don't have or forget gloves, we will have some you can use. Gardening gloves will not be sufficient to protect your hands.
We want crew leaders! If you would like to run your own project, we will give you training and volunteers.
If you have a truck you would like to provide for a project, we appreciate you and accept your offer!
We will have a waiver for you to complete prior to the start of the project.
