**About The Fundraiser:**
Each year the Cascade Ridge PTSA holds a fundraiser to raise funds for programs, events, and grants for our school. Our fundraiser will take place from September 19th-September 30th.
**Our fundraising focus this year is on equipment and programs that will support students learning and making friends through PLAY at Cascade Ridge!**
In addition to programs like Science Week, teacher grants, movie nights, Winterfest, and STEM programs this year we are raising funds for the following special programs:
Indoor winter recess activities: Indoor recess will be an alternative option for students that are looking for a quieter place to spend their time. Books, educational toys, manipulatives, and sensory items are some of the amazing items that will be funded by your donations.
**Gaga Ball **is a fast-moving and high-energy game that keeps all children active and engaged. Known as the “great equalizer” in playground sports, gaga requires no special athletic skill or ability and is enjoyed by children of all ages. We are excited to bring this new game to the Cascade Ridge playground!
**The Goal:**
Our overall fundraising goal for this year is:
$30,000
It costs an average of $100 per student annually to fund the programs, events, and grants that the PTSA supports. Your donation will help us to meet our goal and continue to support education, advocacy, fun, and community building at Cascade Ridge.
**Totally Coyote!**
We will be celebrating the student's fundraising efforts with a community event. Totally Coyote! Cascade Ridge's Retrofest will take place on September 30th from 5-7pm. This event is for the whole family. Activities will include a retro video game themed obstacle course, glow dance party, face painting, food trucks, concessions, musical cakes and more! For more details about the event, please read more on the Cascade Ridge PTSA Website.
**Prizes!**
Prizes will be awarded to the classes with the greatest % of participation in the fundraiser. Two top class winners will be selected. One from grades K-2 and another from grades 3-5. These classes will have the opportunity to spin the wheel-of-fun and win a fun prize.
If we reach our schoolwide goal of $30,000, we will be holding a special slime assembly. Our amazing principal, Ms. Sehlin, and two surprise staff members have volunteered to get slimed! We know the kids would LOVE to participate in this fun celebration of their fundraising efforts. More details to come!
