Registration has now closed for this campout.
It's cold, and that means our January troop campout will be a winter cabin event - and a chance to earn several more merit badges! Join us Jan. 24-26 at the Lodge at Springhill Retreat Center for a fun weekend of troop camaraderie, learning and even some cheerful service! Scouts will have the opportunity to work on Cooking, Personal Management, Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation and Communications Eagle-required merit badges from certified merit badge counselors. And we'll also have some fun stuff, including campfire and cooking activities.(PLEASE NOTE: The Cooking MB has limited slots, also requires a prerequisite class during 1/20 troop meeting, and may mean you'll be cooking for a patrol other than your own.)
This one is close by, and while scouts can tent camp to earn nights towards rank and Camping MB requirements, there is an indoor alternate sleeping option if it ends up being really cold. There is just a $10 charge per scout to cover facilities and program (along with the usual grubmaster fees for patrol food).
