Thoroughbred Tennis Camps 2025

Greetings from the folks at the Thoroughbred Tennis Camps, coming this summer of 2025 on the beautiful campus of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. And welcome to the newly completed McCaffery Wagman Tennis Center, the finest collegiate tennis facility in the northeast. The veteran varsity coaches of Skidmore Men's and Women's tennis will be on court with you the whole way, offering three camp options for the dedicated tennis junior. From the learning player to the USTA player, to the highschool JV, Varsity player, as well as the college recruit.

To get started, select your preferred sessions, fill in the necessary information, and secure your spot.  We understand that every family's schedule is unique. That’s why we offer multiple options to fit your plans. Choose the sessions and the weeks that suit you best. And please be aware that the purchase of two or more of the same item will be awarded a 10% discount - a sibling discount.

This program is a 50 minute exploration of the essentials of hand to eye coordination, racquet control, and peer cooperation for children 4 to 7 years of age.

For the learning player ages 8yrs - 12yrs, live ball and game oriented exploration of the ABCs .. agility/balance/coordination, grounded in progression, acheivement, and having fun!

For the learning and competitive player 11yrs - 15yrs, JTT, JV, and Varsity. Player development, live ball drill 'n' play, all stroke and shot production development, full court learning, full game training.

For the competitive player 13yrs - 18yrs, JV, Varsity and beyond. Morning and afternoon sessions, 1 hour lunch break with match analysis in our climate contolled meeting / viewing lounge.
Morning stroke and shot development, all game, all court learning. Organized afternoon game and match play with on court coaching from the Skidmore varsity coaching staff. Play Sight (https://playsight.com/) match recording on every court, available for home viewing, with daily match review curated by the Skidmore varsity coaches at our indoor video review lounge.
