Spring Artist Workshop Day 2025

Join Warren County ARTS for an all day in person event open to members of Warren County ARTS and non-members (18+ yrs old). This all day workshop will be held Saturday April 26th from 8:30am to 4pm at Saint Peter and Paul Church, 360 US Hwy 46, Great Meadows, NJ 07838. The workshop is limited to 20 students. Register by April 21st, online or by mail, for a full day of artful immersion.
Workshop fee includes light breakfast (8:30 -9am), Lunch (12 -1pm), two 3 hour workshops and all materials needed for the day. Member fee is $95 and non-member fee is $130.

The morning workshop starts at 9am with Keith Garubba for an amazing paper marbling experience. Discover the magic of marbling decorative and abstract papers with this easy to learn workshop to a centuries old practice. Participants iwll be guided through the techniques and history of Turkish Marbling with acrylics. All materials will be provided by the instructor. In this workshop you will: create 10 marbled papers, sized 12' x 19", yours to keep, Learn 4 (or more) cool patterns fundamental to marbling, Explore spontaneity in free style marble design, and build on skills you learn to create floral and other imagery on water.
After lunch, Warren County ARTS President, Pamela Dulaff will teach the afternoon workhop from 1 -4pm in which we'll make use of some of the papers, made in the morning, to create a soft cover handmade journal. This journal will be bound will the decorative & functional Long Stitch Heart Stitch binding. You will have the choice of watercolor, mixed media or drawing paper for the pages inside your book.
