Blackshear Elem HISD PTO is a 501(c)(3) organization founded and run by the parents, teachers and community members of Blackshear Elementary in the historic 3rd Ward.

Your annual donation goes towards fostering community at Blackshear, supporting Blackshear's staff, teachers, and families all the while, enhancing our Blackshear scholars’ educational experience.
Any adult who supports a scholar at Blackshear is welcome to join the Blackshear Elem HISD PTO (e.g., parent, grandparent, guardian, community leader, etc.).
The Blackshear PTO meets regularly throughout the year and looks forward to your support as a sponsor or donor.
PTO Meetings are at 5pm biweekly. Zoom links will also be shared. Scholars are welcomed to attend. Food will be served.
