The RISE team has partnered with the Birmingham Legion to offer a fun-filled soccer clinic for children and young adults with developmental and physical disabilities.
Date: March 20
Time: 2:00pm to 3:30pm
Where: Soccer Field at Rebels Stadium
Who: Athletes, 4 years of age and older, who have developmental or physical disabilities.
Cost: $25 — all proceeds go to The Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Program of O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB
High school students and Birmingham Legion players will pair up with participating athletes for fun, exciting, and developmentally appropriate soccer related activities. No soccer experience necessary! This is all about having FUN!
We ask that parents or guardians remain present during the 90 minute clinic. Sit back, relax, cheer, enjoy, and take pictures at the medal ceremony!
