Smiley’s Bicentennial Throwback T-Shirt honors the Streetsboro favorite, Smiley’s Old Fashioned Custard (even though we don’t know it was ever really called Smiley’s). Originally Peppy’s Drive-In (est. 1954) and then under new ownership was renamed Custard’s Coney Shoppe (1971-2008). The name Smiley’s is what locals referred to this custard stand because of the oversized, illuminated, smiling face signage. Smiley’s served authentic custard always featuring a flavor of the week. Strickland’s Frozen Custard carries on the local tradition.
This Gildan Adult Softstyle® T-Shirt, printed with the authentic image and the Bicentennial Logo on the right sleeve and are available in sizes- Small and Medium. Celebrate one of Streetsboro’s favorite custard shop’s from yesteryears recreate your Smiley’s memories!
