Come join for a two-hour hike up over 500 stairs and down over 200 stairs as we explore the nooks, crannies, and history of Russian Hill. Led by volunteer walking guide Sean Harvey (parent of a G2), we’ll start at a cable car stop and end up at one of San Francisco’s newest parks, Francisco Park (which just happens to be a couple of blocks away from the Irish coffees at the Buena Vista).
Duration: The tour typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the pace of the group and the number of stops.
Difficulty: The walk is moderately strenuous due to the steep inclines, but it’s manageable for most people who enjoy a bit of a workout.
Kids are welcome, but they'll be walking up and down 700+ stairs.
