What is PTO?PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization. The PTO at Everglades Elementary School consists of parents, families, teachers, and staff working together to support and enrich all students. We support school staff, promote a positive student environment, and assist in solving school needs through volunteers and fundraising.

Anyone can join and show their support. The cost per family membership is $15 per year.

**If I Join PTO, Do I Have to Volunteer?**
Although we encourage active participation, PTO members are not required to volunteer or attend meetings. By joining the PTO, you show your support for the students, their education, and the PTO’s goal to make a difference in the lives of all our students. The PTO is a team effort, and we cannot succeed on our own. If you can volunteer, please sign up and get involved.
