As the parent or guardian of an Ivymount student, you are automatically a member of our PTA.
While there are no required PTA dues, we rely primarily on voluntary donations by our
families during our Annual Dues Drive to fund a significant portion of our
family activities and staff appreciation events. As a small school fortunate to have a large number of staff, approximately 220 staff, to support our students, we can only be successfull with maximum parent support. Contributions of any amount are welcome.
The Ivymount PTA strives to create a sense of community for students and their parents/guardians, as well as recognize our amazing Ivymount staff throughout the year. The PTA will be meeting four times this year and all parents/guardians are welcome to participate. The next PTA meeting is in person, at Ivymount on Friday, September 6th from 10 am -11 am. Prior to the PTA meeting, all families are welcome to join us for a New Family Coffee at 9:15 am. Please stay tuned for meeting announcements in IvyNotes or on the PTA list serv. The majority of our PTA meetings are virtual and scheduled during evening hours. If you cannot attend meetings, you can still help the PTA by volunteering at PTA-sponsored events, signing up to be a Room Parent for your child’s class, or participating during Staff Appreciation Week.
Funds collected will also be used to host family events. PTA family events include all Ivymount
students and their families and provide a wonderful opportunity for students to
interact outside of school. Our next PTA family event is scheduled for late fall. Additional information will follow shortly.
