2024 Program Aide Training Course
This training is available to any currently registered Girl Scout in grade 6 or above. This certification course will enable scouts to volunteer as a Program Aide at Service Unit or Council Events. A prerequisite to becoming a Program Aide is completing a Leadership in Action Award. This is done when a Girl Scout assists a Brownie Troop with a Brownie Journey.
**It is mandatory that the Leadership in Action (LiA) Award be earned before the start of Day Camp or Camporee; it is preferable that the Girl Scout earn the LiA before the PA Training Course in April.**
WHEN: Saturday, April 27, 2024 (11:30 pm - 4:30 pm)
WHERE: Hayward Girl Scout Cabin (behind the Hayward Plunge)
COST: $20.00 per scout (includes lunch, snacks, handbook, etc.)

**NO Registrations will be accepted after that date.**
Once you have completed the LiA Award and the PA Training Course, you will need to sign up to work with younger Girl Scouts for 6 Sessions, such as Day Camp or Camporee. More information on how you can complete the 6 session requirement to finish up the PA Training Requirements will be discussed at the April 27th Training.
