Pack1280 is still waiting for authorization to send in a group list.... until then, please sign up here, so we can give them an accurate headcount and plan to go in person and pay the $8/child (Adults are free) Yes, Scouts an bring their friends.
Come out and play with friends and family during Potomac District’s Cub Scout Summer Fun Day to experience the fun-filled adventures of Cub Scouts. On August 24, 2024, boys & girls in grades K-5 can enjoy fishing, BBs, archery, and climbing wall. Our host for our Cub Fun Day is the Izaak Walton League in Poolesville, MD. There will be additional activities for Archery and BB Elective Adventures that youth can sign up on site. Bring the family out for some great summer fun and learn about the adventures of Cub Scouting!
Location: Izaak Walton at Poolesville (20601 Izaak Walton Way, Poolesville, MD 20837) Carpooling is encouraged. Parking is limited.
Events: Fishing, BBs, Archery, Climbing Tower.
Bring fishing gear and bait (some fishing poles are available), water, bug spray, a hat, sunscreen, a lawn chair, and lunch/snacks.
(They will have a bunch but you will then have to take turns using the fishing rods)
If you sign up on this form, the first 25 registered scouts will have their registration fee paid by the Pack. Otherwise you will pay $10 at the door. Only Scouts need to sign up. Please do not register yourself.
Remember, after you sign up, you will see a check mark. THEN you click next, and input how many "registered" scouts you will be bringing using the quantity feature. Then you will enter their names and ranks in the comments box.
