Pop’s Truck Stop Bicentennial Throwback T-Shirt

The Pop’s Truck Stop Bicentennial Throwback T-Shirt honors the landmark once located on Route 14, where University Hospital Health Center now stands. Originally built in the early 1920’s as a Sunoco Fuel Station, Pop’s was established in 1948 by Irving “Pop’s” & Estelle Fortnoff. Pop’s became one of Streetsboro’s best-known landmarks, operating 24 hours a day, year-round (except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve). In addition, to serving hot meals, there were “yards” of glass display cases filled with everything imaginable! Pop’s sold billfolds, shaving supplies, lighters, car deodorizers, handkerchiefs, books and firearms. The building was supposed to be razed to make way for what was going to be an “ultra new Pop’s.” Unfortunately, the business closed in 1980 which saddened the truck stop’s large following. The building was razed sometime later.‎

These Gildan Adult Softstyle® T-Shirts commemorative vintage style Pop’s Truck Stop T-shirts designed with the Bicentennial Logo on the right sleeve and are available in size- Medium.‎
