We are thrilled you have chosen to audition for the Olathe Youth Symphony! We wish you the best of luck as you strive to perform along side some of the best student musicians in the Kansas City area. Please read and complete the steps below to register & submit video auditions.
Part 1: AUDITION REGISTATION STEPS
Complete OYS Student/Parent Information Form. (It is crucial that all information provided is acccurate as it will be used for future OYS communication. When providing an email address, be sure to provide one you check frequently.)
Click Continue.
Add $15 OYS Audition Fee to cart. (If you have more than one student registering for OYS auditions, you will need to complete this process for each student separately. Please DO NOT just add multiple $15 fees to your cart, as we need detailed information for each applicant.)
Click Continue to Checkout.
Log in or create a Cheddar Up account. You could also continue as a Guest.
Pay the $15 audition fee via credit card or Apple Pay through Cheddar Up.
Check your email for payment confirmation.
If you have multiple students you MUST go through this process for each person.
Part 2: SUBMITTING YOUR VIDEO AUDITION
Check your email for Payment Confirmation from Cheddar Up. This emailed receipt contains step by step audition instructions and the link to upload your video submission. Audition requirements are also included for your convenience.
Deadline to submit audition video: 11:59 pm Sunday, May 18, 2025. Results will be **emailed by June 8th.**to the emails you put on the audition form.
Once accepted a Member Fee of $220.00 is due by July 1st. Paid through the link you receive in the acceptance letter. Late payment is $240.00 and must be received by August 1, 2025 unless a payment plan has been arranged by OYS prior to July 1st. Requests may be made by contacting olatheyouthsymphony@gmail.com .
