As an officer it is important to understand what is expected of you and we have some great ideas to help you prepare for next year.  In addition to your role, it is just as important to understand everyone else’s role on the executive committee/board. The goal of the officers training is that everyone leaves with good information and tools to help them succeed not only in their role but as a team!

President - This workshop will cover the role and responsibilities of Presidents. We will review a President's calendar/procedures. Most importantly we will talk about ways to engage and support your board and members.

Secretary - What is expected of you as a secretary? How much needs to be in your minutes? Learn how to be an effective and efficient member of the board. This workshop will cover the duties and responsibilities of both the recording and corresponding secretary positions.

Treasurer – A to Z on everything in the treasury toolkit. presentation that will assist you in preparing complete and clear monthly budget reports and ensure that monthly bank account reconciliations are performed in accordance with our insurance requirements. Keeping thorough and accurate records will make filing your 990 with the IRS an easier task

Vice President – You spoke and we listened! This year in addition to the general expectations of every VP we will be offering a variety of Vice President workshops. We have found that many of our Vice Presidents have specific responsibilities, and we want to make sure we are supporting them. So please let us know what your specific role is.
