What makes New Orleans such an amazing destination is its deeply-rooted connection to American music and the history of jazz, blues, and Cajun/ zydeco. Most of the students have expressed an interest in going on the trip but the trip is voluntary. The PHS Music Boosters do not fundraise for student travel, so the financial responsibility is completely upon the student and their initiative in the fundraisers organized by the student leadership and the music department. The money a student fundraises is theirs alone, and whatever amount they fundraise can be used for any trip contribution. Parents are encouraged to not send their student on this trip if the student has not participated in the fundraising, or not contributed to the expense of the trip with their own money.
Vaccination Policy: Per Petaluma City Schools District guidelines for overnight field trips, all students and adults who wish to participate **must be fully vaccinated.**
The cost of the trip is $925.00
This is an optional way to pay for the annual trip. Checks and cash can still be provided directly to Mr. Evelend. However, with this new payment portal, you can make your trip payments by credit card. CheddarUp charges a fee of 3.5% + $0.45 for each credit card transaction. You can also use an E-check which costs .45 cents.
