STEP 1: Your unit is responsible for submitting dues of $3.50 for each member in your unit as a requirement of affiliate with LAPTA and National PTA. Please submit your membership dues through this platform. Paper checks will not be accepted. You may use an e-check or credit/debit card. Louisiana PTA will cover processing fees only for e-checks. Units that use a credit/debit card will be charged for the processing fees to Cheddar Up. The form for payment requires two names and emails for submission just as your unit would do with a paper check.
STEP 2: When you submit your dues payment, email your complete LAPTA Local Unit Membership Report Spreadsheet to our LAPTA Office Manager at office@louisianapta.org. The Excel spreadsheet can be downloaded below. It needs last name, first name, and email for each member. If you do not have access to Excel, use the free Libre Office here: https://www.libreoffice.org/discover/libreoffice/.
You can download the Member Card template for your unit to send copies to your members. LAPTA does not distribute paper cards. Further details and information on memberships are at LouisianaPTA.org/membership.

The membership rosters your unit generates and provides to Louisiana PTA contain private information. PTA respects the rights to privacy each member expects; therefore, Louisiana PTA, and our Local PTAs will not release PTA membership lists to non-members or outside interests, or use membership lists for personal gain or profit.
