L.I.V.E. is a student run club at Nordhoff High School whose mission is to develop global citizenship and understanding in students through international service projects that facilitate cross cultural exchange and to empower students to become leaders through the process of planning, budgeting, community outreach, and international travel.
L.I.V.E.'s 2023-2024 student team consists of eleven students who are passionate about exploring new cultures and serving others around the world. Team members take an active role in planning, budgeting, and deciding on travel destinations and types of service. Throughout the school year, all members work towards meeting our set group budget to ensure all members get the same opportunities for travel, planning and taking part in fundraisers and community outreach events. Members also spend time before traveling learning about the culture and history of the country and community they will be visiting.
Your support of the L.I.V.E. student team will go directly to helping send the 2023-2024 L.I.V.E. team to our service project in Luang Prabang, Laos in summer 2023. Our team will be working with ongoing community development efforts in renovation and construction. We will be doing hands-on service work while also learning about the culture and working alongside community members.
Thank you for your support!
