GIRL SCOUT TROOPS _WILL Show off their Outdoor Skills in this affirming competition!_
Juniors, 2nd Year Brownies, and 1st Year Cadettes are welcome.
**Junior Skills Weekend is an opportunity to celebrate your outdoor skills progression with Volunteer Outdoor Experts!**
After all this time indoors, we are all a little rusty, and look forward to meeting Girl Scouts right where they are in a positive, fun, and experiential learning environment.
The competition aspect is mostly Girl Scouts competing against themselves -- how can I grow, how can WE grow as a team, how can I grow my leadership -- and celebrating our successes! Awards are given for all, as well as First, Second, and Third Place.
**Points are given for confidence in skill demonstration in the areas of Knots, Lashing, Outdoor Cooking & Sanitation, Fire Building, First Aid, Leave No Trace, General Camping & Clean Up, and Team Work.**
