Fannin PTA works hard to support our students, faculty, and families! PTA hosts events, supports communication, and overall bends over backward to support the success of Fannin Elementary. Join as a member for the 2024-25 school year and show your support.
Our goal this year is to reach 500 members. Anyone can join PTA (parents, students, grandparents, aunts, cousins, community partners, and more).
FAQs:
Do I have to come to PTA meetings? No, not at all, but we'd love to have you. Our meetings are held over lunch on Thursdays: 11:45 food and fellowship time, 12:00 meeting begins, and wrap up by 12:30.
Why does it matter if I join PTA? Good question! It matters because a robust, involved PTA can be (and in Fannin's case actually is) an awesome recruiting tool for getting the best teachers and staff to our campus. Having a large, vocal membership also aids in having our voice heard at the District level. Plus, you get special invites to events and opportunties throughout the year. Also, our Membership VP is dedicated to reaching our 500 member goal, so the quicker we reach it the better.
Do I have to help out with bake sales and all that stuff? Nope, but we'd love to have you! We understand that we are all WAY too busy and we all have to prioritize our time. Your involvement with PTA can be as much or as little as you'd like. We need the help and support from all levels; every little bit helps, starting with your $8 annual membership.
Are you going to harass me with PTA nonsense? We do send emails containing information on school events and other related items of importance. No, we aren't going to sell your information or fill our inbox with unnecassary Spam.
