iSchool of Lewisville PTO exists to serve our community (i.e., students, educators, & parents) through programming, events, & hospitality.
How does PTO use membership funds and fundraising?
Here are a few of our annual PTO activities and fundraising opportunities:
**Hot Lunches Mondays & Fridays: **a great opportunity to share your time by committing to at least five days a year in order for the hot lunch option to be continued for our students and families.
Snack Bar Mondays & Fridays: serve in the snack bar that is available for students to purchase items for lunch and/or in addition to their lunch.
Student socials: hosting and chaperoning middle-school/high-school events to strengthen positive social interaction.
Student Grant Program: supporting student-led initiatives/clubs for special projects.
Winter Wonderland: sharing joy with both teachers and students before winter break.
Faculty/Staff Appreciation: celebrating our iSchool staff and educators through luncheons, treats, Teacher Appreciation Week.
Gifts to iSchool: financially supporting specific needs of students and faculty/staff as a whole (e.g., picnic tables available outside, senior and 8th grade graduation celebrations).
This is a year of continued growth, and your financial and/or volunteer support is appreciated. PTO is instituting a recognition program in order to appreciate our wonderful volunteers who serve in the school. We are utilizing a service-hours log to track this new recognition incentive.
