Exhibitor Participation Rules and Regulations

**Please contact the event coordinator before filling out the vendor application and submitting your payment to confirm your product is not already represented.**‎

  • Vendor operating hours: Saturday, December 10, 2022 7 AM to 5:30 PM‎
  • Vendor set up hours: Friday, December 9, 2022 5 PM to 7 PM and Saturday, December 10, 2022 7 AM to 8:45 AM.‎
  • Open to the public hours: Saturday, December 10, 2022 9 AM to 4 PM‎
  • Silent Auction: We are asking vendors for a product donation for our online silent auction. Product pictures and product description need to be emailed to forneylegacyproject@gmail.com by November 30, 2022. You will submit your silent auction item when checking in to the event.‎
  • Check in: Please check in with the event coordinators before unloading. You receive your event packet and turn in your silent auction item. We ask that you allow yourself ample time that morning to arrive and set up. All booths must be ready to go at 8:45 AM.‎
  • Loading, Unloading, and Parking: Please pull around the back of the school (drive past the school then turn left into the parking lot. Vendors are responsible for providing their own tables and chairs and extension cords. Once you are completely unloaded, you will park in the back of the parking lot.‎
  • Hours of operation: You are to man your booth during the entire market. **There will be NO BREAKDOWN of your booth space before 4 PM the day of the event.‎
  • Direct Sales Companies: Only 1 consultant from each direct sales company is allowed. (i.e. Color Street, Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, thirty-one etc.) If you did not include these items in your application, then you will not be permitted to display or sell them. We are not responsible for upholding the rules of each company. That is up to the individual sales representatives.‎
  • **During Show Rules and Regulations:**‎
  • No open flames – school district regulation‎
  • No selling of any products that are deemed anti-American, vulgar, political, handbills, or solicitous materials. FLP reserves the right to restrict the sale, display, or distribution of any printed materials, photographs, books, magazines, pictures, paraphernalia or other representations in order to maintain a proper moral and wholesome environment.‎
  • You will not be allowed to sell items that are not listed on your application. Major changes in the items you sell must be emailed to the FLP at forneylegacyproject@gmail.com before November 30, 2022.‎
  • Nails or anything that would cause damage to and structure walls is not permitted. Painters tape is acceptable to use on the walls. Please provide your own tape.‎
  • All vendors must have inventory to sell. Custom work and orders can be offered. Marketing and promotional business vendors are acceptable.‎
  • Your table cannot be larger than your booth unless you pay for more than one booth space. You are not allowed to encroach on your neighbor’s booth or take over an unoccupied booth. You must stay within your booth space.‎
  • FLP board members reserve the right to refuse any exhibitor for any reason deemed necessary.‎
  • Vendors will not be allowed to move once a booth is assigned to them.‎
  • If you did not pay for an electrical outlet, then you are not permitted to plug into one.‎
  • Tents and pop up canopies are not permitted inside the building.‎
  • You will need to post twice a week leading up to the event and no less than twice during the event on your personal or stores’ Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter, etc., if you have one, AND check into the event on the Forney Legacy Project Facebook page (listed below). You can always post more often, if desired. You can start posting on the event page on Facebook as soon as it is created and shared.‎
  • **Closing: **Due to time constraints, we need to have all booths torn down and all items removed from inside the school by 5:30 PM on the Saturday of the event. If you leave your designated booth with trash, tape on the walls, and/or inventory then you will run the risk of being refused booth space in future events. Forney Legacy Project will not assume responsibility for anything left by a vendor on premises.‎
  • Cancellations, Refunds, and No Shows: Cancellation request must be submitted on or before November 30, 2022 forneylegacyproject@gmail.com and will receive a 50% refund minus any fees. If you are to receive a refund, then it will be issued no later than December 15, 2022. Any cancellations after November 30, 2022 will result in no refund. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Only if you cancel your booth, our booth fee will be considered a tax deductible donation to FLP and you will receive a tax donation letter after December 15, 2022. If a vendor is not set up or occupying their booth space by 8:45 AM on the Saturday of the event then they will be considered a No Show and no refund will be given. If you have “no show” to this event, then you will not be eligible for a booth space the next year for the FLP event. No admittance will be allowed to a vendor after the 10 AM opening time.‎
  • **Payment: **If you have registered for a booth but have not paid or made arrangements with FLP to pay within 1 week of registration and another vendor that sells the same thing as you wants to be involved with the event, then that vendor will have the opportunity to take your place if he/she pays the day of registration. Payment must be received at the same time the vendor application is filled out. In the event you are not accepted as a vendor, your payment will be returned to you, along with a letter stating why you were not accepted.‎
  • Sales and Use Tax: (This information is included for vendors, if needed.) The requirement to obtain a Texas sales and use tax permit applies to individuals as well as corporations, firms, organizations, partnerships, and all other legal entities engaged in business in Texas; and selling tangible personal property or providing taxable services in Texas to customers in Texas. All vendors are required to collect, report, and pay state and local sales tax. FLP will not be responsible for sales tax collection at the event.   • Food Vendors: Snack type foods only. Submission of application does not guarantee acceptance to the FLP Holiday Blitz. Any food vendor must have all documentation (documents attached) filed with the City of Forney Health and Safety. https://www.forneytx.gov/DocumentCenter/View/47/Temporary-Food-Permit---Application-and-Guidelines-PDF?bidId=. We will not file the paperwork for you or contact them on your behalf. Temporary Food Permits must be shown to the event staff at the time of check in and displayed in their booth at all times. In the event your food permit application is not accepted and you can not attend the vendor show your booth fee will be returned to you.‎
  • Disclaimer: Forney Legacy Project will not be responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or injury that may occur to any vendor, their representatives, or property before, during, or after show hours. Vendors should insure themselves against such claims and by checking the box on their registration, release the school and host from liability.‎
